PRLog - Jan. 2, 2013 - ATLANTA -- “I’m so proud of our agents, clients, past clients and local community for helping us to make Christmas a little brighter for so many local children,” explained Ben Christopher, co-broker/owner of RE/MAX Greater Atlanta.

One special story came during the donation period. The Marietta real estate office had closed for the evening, but co-broker/owner Denny Jones had gone back to the office for something. When he arrived, he found a mother and her two young children waiting in a car outside the office.
Apparently, they passed by the RE/MAX Greater Atlanta office regularly, saw the Toys for Tots collection sign, and the children wanted to personally put their bag of toys in the box. They wanted to make sure other children would have a good Christmas. Because it’s a real estate office, the mother figured someone would show up sooner or later to let them in—and she was right!
“We were so touched by the idea of these children wanting to help other children. It was just additional confirmation that this is a cause we will continue supporting every year.”

RE/MAX Greater Atlanta celebrated 25 years of selling metro Atlanta real estate in 2011. The company is co-owned by Ben Christopher and Denny Jones. Centrally located minutes north of Atlanta in Marietta, at 2050 Roswell Road, RE/MAX is the most recognizable brand in residential real estate today. RE/MAX Greater Atlanta was named one of Atlanta’s Top 25 Real Estate Companies for 2012. The annual list is compiled by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and was formally published in a March issue focusing on residential real estate in Atlanta.
In 2011, RE/MAX had more closings than any other national real estate franchise (as reported to Real Trends). In fact, RE/MAX agents had nearly 600,000 transactions, which was 20 percent higher than the next franchise on the list.
