Whitesands Capital Add to Their Management Team

Jan. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Whitesands Capital, one of Asia’s leading private wealth management firms, founded in 1999 in the Asian Pacific Regional investment hub of Hong Kong today confirmed that the company has appointed Gregory Lu as Director and Manager of Private Investment for North East Asia (NEA) & Hong Kong, to lead the strategic direction of Whitesands Capital business in Greater China and North East Asia.

Whitesands Capital new Director and Manager of Private Investment for North East Asia (NEA) & Hong Kong, Desmond Lu will be based in the companies Hong Kong headquarters and will report to Frank Rothbard Deputy Head of Consumer Investment for the firm.  Commenting on the appointment, Frank Rothbard said, “We are excited to have Gregory joining the management team here at Whitesands Capital. Gregory is a banking veteran with a proven track record of over 25 years and his extensive experience in the financial industry will be invaluable to building strong business relationships, branding and marketing in the ever growing NEA market place.”

Gregory Lu brings in over 25 years' experience in managing businesses in banking and
Financial institutions. His previous roles include Private Banking Head for North Asia at one of the region’s biggest banking institutions; he has also worked in Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo during his career. He is a regular member of talk shows, forums and newspaper columns on the financial markets. Gregory Lu graduated from Peking University and is fluent in 4 languages. His appointment will be effective as from 14th January 2013.
