Vistage Michigan To Launch Key Executive Group in Northern Michigan

Jan. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Less than two years after its initial expansion in northern Michigan, Vistage Michigan (www.vistagemichigan.com), part of the world’s leading Chief Executive organization, announced that it will be adding a Key Executive Group in the area.

The inaugural member meeting for this group, which includes small business owners as well as vice presidents and other leadership personnel who play a role in their company's daily operations and hiring, takes place Thurs., Jan. 17 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Northern Michigan Sports Medicine Center (4048 Cedar Bluff Dr.) in Petoskey.  There is no cost to attend for guests.

James “Jay” Hawreluk, author of “Unraveling the Mystery of People,” is the keynote speaker.  During this interactive seminar, Hawreluk explains how people are innately hardwired and how that affects their behavior.  Attendees also will gain an understanding of the ways in which people embrace ideas, react to pressure and communicate and effectively exchange information.

Vistage’s Key Executive Program empowers members to become stronger leaders and assets to their CEOs and teams.  It also provides them with the opportunity to connect with up to 15 key executive peers from a diverse range of businesses and backgrounds for challenging discussions, fresh perspectives on the key executive role, and strategies to create a closer alignment with his CEO.
