The inaugural member meeting for this group, which includes small business owners as well as vice presidents and other leadership personnel who play a role in their company's daily operations and hiring, takes place Thurs., Jan. 17 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Northern Michigan Sports Medicine Center (4048 Cedar Bluff Dr.) in Petoskey. There is no cost to attend for guests.
James “Jay” Hawreluk, author of “Unraveling the Mystery of People,” is the keynote speaker. During this interactive seminar, Hawreluk explains how people are innately hardwired and how that affects their behavior. Attendees also will gain an understanding of the ways in which people embrace ideas, react to pressure and communicate and effectively exchange information.
