The segment will feature some of the latest Intel technology for TV set-top boxes and Comcast’s new XFINITY TV on the X1 Platform.
Intel is working with service providers around the world, like Comcast, to make set-top boxes, video gateways, and TV viewing devices smarter. Comcast is already taking advantage of this new technology via its new X1 Platform to help bring an entirely new entertainment experience to its XFINITY customers. Today, the X1 Platform delivers an easy-to-navigate user interface with rich graphics and poster art as well as advanced search capabilities that make finding favorite TV shows and movies to watch on the TV easier, faster and more convenient than ever before. X1 also integrates apps like weather, traffic, sports, Pandora, Facebook and Twitter on the TV for a streamlined and personalized entertainment experience that is unlike any other.
