Follow on Google News | New Sci-Fi/Crime Web Series ReleaseGritty crime-noir fantasy Shotgun Mythos releases on web platforms blip.tv, itunes, Web Series Network, Slebisodes and DailyMotion.
By: Shotgun Mythos The first 12 episodes have completed filming, and started airing on December 27, with new episodes releasing each Thursday. But getting to this point hasn't always been easy. Created by a small company in Martinsburg, WV, Shotgun Mythos had its share of challenges prior to launch. Key roles had to be recast on short notice, locations had to be changed at the last minute, and special effects did not arrive, but the little no-budget production pressed on. "It's been an adventure. Do I wish that things had been a little easier? Sure. But we made it through...and some of the challenges turned out to be the best things that could have happened. Take the recasting of Ari, for example. Robbie Whiplash stepped into the role at the last moment, when an actor dropped out of the production due to family issues. And it was the best thing that could have happened. Because not only is Robbie perfect as Ari, he is also a talented musician who had created a spectacular score for the series. The show wouldn't be the same without his music." Gaige said. http://youtu.be/ And production of the web series is just the beginning. The team behind Shotgun Mythos have created a fan's dream. The website offers not only episodes of the show and a synopsis of it, but cast bios, detailed bios for each character, behind the scenes features, and details about the mythology and history that give a glimpse into the world, and a clue to things to come. An active Facebook page, a weekly podcast and a daily blog all combine to give almost unlimited access to the show. "We hope that viewers enjoy the story we have to tell, forget that we are a little no-budget production and enjoy the ride."
