TPODMEP Encourages, College Student Protégé Members to Volunteer

TPODMEP has put together a rallying initiative designed to encourage college student members to volunteer their time and talents to human and social outreach programs and organizations.

(Cooper City, FL - December 21st, 2012) TPODMEP has pput together a eallying initiative designed to encourage college student members to volunteer their time and talents to human and social outreach programs and organizations.

TPODMEP volunteerism rallying initaitive will include a peer-to-peer accountability system, where each student protege member with tpodmep, will encourage their fellow membership peers to volunteer a minimum of (2) hours of their time, per month to a human and social outreach organization via a social media volunteerism promotional campaign. Thus, students will share their volunteering experiences with each other via twitter, facebook and instagram- social media platforms, in an effort to drive home the importance of volunteering as well as to consistently remind each other to donate their time and talents to an outrech organization, located within their residing neighborhoods. IN addition, students will engage in volunteering outreach forums, with public service/ community leaders and social service organizations, to help student members understande the importance of volunteerism and community outreach engagement and participation.

"Volunteerism is a very essential component to community health, vitality and development and tpodmep volunteerism rallying initiative will help students understand this as well," said Betthy Edmond, Executive Vice President of TPODMEP.
