Detroit's #1 Radio Station has already given the hit single its blessing by spinning it this past Saturday on its "Whatz Next On The Menu" segment with "The Troubleman". With the content of music that currently dominates the airwaves, Brooklyn was asked why he decided to drop a song dedicated to the ladies. " I actually Love Trap Music ..." Said Brooklyn. "If you look at my playlist you'll see Jeezy, Naz and even Trinidad James, but you'll also find old school R&B artist like Jodeci, H-Town & Sylk. Alot of artist come into the industry like I'm fixing to change the game up. Not me, I love what is currently out there, but I needed my contribution to music to add to the conversation, not change the entire game, there's room for us all. I want my music to be driven from my early influences in music and not by what is supposed to be hot right now. I'm looking to tell my story and have a little fun while doing it".
Brooklyn is the son of Music Executive Yoni Sarden of Harmony Soul Entertainment. His full length album is expected to be released in the spring of 2013.
