The compact Frontier pickup truck has claimed a spot at the top of the pack with its combination of premium materials, superior workmanship, and outstanding performance on and off the road. Available with 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive, in Crew Cab or King Cab models, the Frontier provides the kind of power and versatility that is readily adaptable for work or for play.
The 2012 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are based upon the results of a survey of more than 75,000 respondents, all of whom own 2012 model year cars and pickup trucks which had been purchased from September through December of 2011. The participants are asked to rate 48 essential vehicle attributes according to their importance when considering a purchase, and upon the level of satisfaction with the vehicle after purchase.
"The 2012 Frontier has earned numerous accolades for its dependability and value since its launch,” said Al Castignetti, Vice President and General Manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, “and today we celebrate the distinguished honor of providing our valued owners with the highest level of overall satisfaction."
Underscoring the commitment Nissan has shown towards innovation, quality, and reliability, this is the fifth major award the Frontier has received in 2012. The other awards the compact pickup has earned are:
Number One in the Mid-Size Pickup Truck Category in the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) 2011 Texas Truck Rodeo
Included in Insure.com's annual "Least Expensive To Insure" list
Kelley Blue Book's "Best Resale Value Award: Top Ten Models" for model year 2012.
The top mid-size pickup in the J.D. Power and Associates “2012 Vehicle Dependability Study.”
