PRLog - Dec. 29, 2012 - HUDSON, Ohio -- Internet startup, Dizbe.com, has recently launched a ‘Creative Marketplace’
Art and Technology Unite!
“Art culture and Internet culture have a lot in common. We have united those similar traits to form an idealistic platform for displaying and selling creative projects,” said Dizbe founder Justin Crowe. “Art is about community, visual culture, and spreading ideas: it should be thriving in the digital space.”
Dizbe also uses crowdsourcing to build its community of art enthusiasts and shoppers by offering store credits to users who refer customers or artists to the Dizbe website.
“We want to reward everyone involved with Dizbe for their role in maintaining a rich creative community,” said Justin. “This means that if someone can invite more collectors or artists to Dizbe, then they earn credit for their referral.”
To organize large volumes of artwork, Dizbe has created a ‘Discover Art’ search tool. Each user begins with Dizbe’s library of artwork and then narrows results by selecting personal preferences such as color, medium, and theme. ‘Discover Art’ is an engaging visual process in which users determine the art that best meets their specific aesthetic.
Dizbe is a platform where artists build an online presence and discover new clients. This new gallery is currently accepting applications from U.S. based artists.
Dizbe was started by Ohio based artist and entrepreneur Justin Crowe. The goal of Dizbe is to spread and strengthen creative culture by utilizing technology trends in the art industry. For more information visit www.Dizbe.com or check out our introduction video at http://www.youtube.com/
