Free Kids' Culinary Classes in Bergen County
The Veggiecation Program and Whole Foods Market at select locations in New Jersey are teaching kids to love and eat their veggies!
As practiced in participating classrooms throughout the country, kids will be invited to help prepare Veggiecation Program’s recipes, sample culinary creations, experience vegetables in their raw form and cast a vote on how they liked the recipes. Kids will take home complimentary character coloring pages, word games, mazes and stickers. Parents will receive a copy of recipes created that day.
A curriculum based nutrition education concept developed for classrooms and at home, Veggiecation Program’s success with kids lies in the engaging activities that empower children with their food choices while demonstrating that eating vegetables is fun and delicious.
Veggiecation Program and Whole Foods Market kids’ cooking classes are free and open to the public. Preregistration for cooking classes at select Whole Foods Markets is required as seating is limited. Click here for more details on this North Jersey event for children: http://www.mybergen.com/
