The environmental services company in NJ warns that mold can lead to serious allergic reactions, asthma attacks and even permanent lung damage. Pets can also suffer health consequences as a result of mold and may have an increase in scratching, licking, rubbing or chewing of their skin. And what many people do not know is that mold could be growing in their homes right now.
Thomas A. Furey, P.E., L.S.R.P and Vice President of The Entech Group says, “If your building or home has been affected by flood waters, or even if you or anyone in your building exhibits these symptoms, have a mold evaluation and inspection performed.”
Furey says that buildings and homes along the shoreline are more susceptible to mold because of increased moisture but he also points out that any building or home, regardless of location, can be a source of mold.
The Entech Group, along with affiliated specialists, offer special environmental services to address the investigation and possible remediation of areas impacted by mold. Mold investigation may include indoor air sampling for mold spores, as well as surface, bulk, and swab sampling. The environmental services company in NJ will also measure the temperature and relative humidity of the indoor air, as well as determine the moisture levels present in wood, drywall, and concrete.
