Follow on Google News | Financing Now Available To Open Your Own Business!Flori Roberts was the first cosmetics brands developed specifically for women of color. This was a big step towards giving African American women a prestigious line of diverse color cosmetics and skin care formulated specifically for them.
Qualified individuals can now apply for financing through Color Me Beautiful brands, to cover the entire $8,000 start-up cost. This financing is turn-key and covers everything from $5,000 worth of startup inventory, training, sales aids, and even the first month’s rent. It is an unprecedented opportunity for qualified, dedicated and highly motivated individuals, who may not have the cash to invest, to open their own company and be their own boss. Specialty Retailing Magazine calls the Color Me Beautiful kiosk business “one of the best business opportunities available… similar opportunities cost $25,000 or more". Although Kiosk owners may sell their choice of brands, such as Adrien Arpel and Color Me Beautiful, the focus is on the Flori Roberts cosmetic brand, created specifically to meet the beauty needs of women of color. Sharon Boone, president of the Flori Roberts Kiosk Division, explains “What makes this opportunity unique is that few places in the mall have products for women of color and yet there is a huge demand.” Boone says, “It is inspirational to see the success stories.” Boone cites Ellaine Wilbon of Dumfries, Virginia, as a perfect example of the opportunities possible in this career. In her mid-20s, and a second year Kiosk Owner, Ellaine and her team do more than $600,000 in annual sales. This translates to approximately $200,000 in take-home pay for Ellaine a year – and growing. Ellaine exclaims, “I’m grabbing a piece of the multi-billion dollar cosmetics industry for myself. And, it’s wonderful to see our clients brighten after we work with them. They look great. They feel great. And, they get lots of compliments. I love having a job where I feel like I am making a difference.” So, what does it take to qualify for this grant and be a successful kiosk owner? According to Boone, it is important to have strong entrepreneurial traits, have the ability to manage and motivate others, successfully complete our four week management training program and, as important as anything else, have determination and a winning spirit. ### Are you ready to re-invent your life?
