Former Mayor Willie Brown Kicks Off Goodwill’s Donate-a-thon
by Donating more than 90 Items from his Personal Collection
WHO: Goodwill donors, People donating for a last minute 2012 tax break,
Goodwill Donation Ambassadors, Goodwill Staff, Costumed Bell Hops, Live 10 Member Band
WHAT: Goodwill Donate-a-thon
To recognize that donating on New Year’s Eve Day is becoming a tradition for families; Goodwill is turning its Mission Street donation drop into donation sensation party on the busiest donation day of the year. Donors will be treated to live music, uniformed bell hop service, snacks and movie and zoo ticket giveaways.
WHERE: Goodwill Truckyard at 1500 Mission Street
On Mission street between 10th and 11th streets
WHEN: Monday, December 31st 2012 from 7am-5pm
The last day of the year to get a tax receipt for donated goods.

Happy people donating, listening to music, and telling their story of why they are giving. Costumed bell hops, donations of toys, clothes, technology and household goods, Goodwill trucks displaying new brand look, traffic cop, cars lining mission street

These much needed donations will fund Goodwill’s job training and placement programs that give local people a second chance and a dignified path out of poverty.
