The 2013 SRX has received a makeover in both the interior and exterior design, as well as to the wide range of safety and high-tech features now offered. Highlights among the new additions include:
• Cadillac User Experience (CUE) – Part driver interface, part entertainment system, CUE provides a 3-D GPS navigation system, 8-inch LCD touchscreen, Doppler-radar weather, Pandora radio, and Bluetooth connectivity along with customizable features and many auto-industry first controls and commands.
• Driver Awareness and Driver Assist Packages – Including Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Safety Alert Seat technology, Automatic Front and Rear Braking, and more.
• Active Noise Cancellation – An advanced system that employs microphones which detect ambient noises, and processes them through a computer that creates counteracting sound waves, providing a quiet driving experience.
Along with the many new features, some of which reflect the utilization of breakthrough technologies, the exterior has been refreshed with an all-new upper and lower grille design, and a pallet of new available colors.
The interior has been redesigned as well, with updates to the instrument cluster, steering wheel, center console, shift knob, and a new Light Titanium interior color pallet paired with Raven Sapele wood color accents.
“The 2013 SRX illustrates the Cadillac philosophy of never leaving well enough alone,” said the Vice President of Marketing for Cadillac, Don Butler, “The enhancements for the SRX – including CUE – are examples of how we’re developing advanced technologies and pushing them consistently through the Cadillac portfolio.”
