Today, Chris Boyle a resident of Central Oregon for 25 years launched the first SMART Inspection & Repair Center.   This new location sits off of a major highway in Bend Oregon.  The location was chosen primarily because the State of Oregon estimates that there are roughly 28,000 impressions a day from passing traffic.  In addition the Repair center shares a large parking facility with Bend’s top destination restaurant, The Tumalo Feed Company.  

Smart Inspection and Repair Centers provide consumers with the option of having windshields, headlights and wipers inspected at no charge.  Using the proprietary SMART System, repairs can be done quickly, and at a much lower cost than replacement.  Plans to open 4 more SMART Repair centers in Central Oregon are underway.  The center is open 12 hours a day, Monday – Saturday.

Insurance companies have contacted the center for pre-inspection  services which are provided @ no charge to the consumer and the insurance companies.

Both parties will benefit from the service as it give a non bias evaluation of repair verses replacement.  SR Centers do not except insurance claims, but the consumer has the ability to pay for the service eliminating any steering or misinformation by claims specialist.  The quality of the service is unmatched by using the “Superior Methods And Repair Technology” SMART System.  The equipment is provided by Surface Dynamix of Bend, a worldwide supplier of glass restoration equipment.

Plans to license the opportunity will be announced January 1st.  The northwest will be the focus for the first quarter.  Smart Repair Centers will provide a great benefit to the environment by eliminating tons of windshield &  headlight waste as they are not recycled.  In addition a percentage of all revenues will be donated to local children sports program in the area.
Service can be performed at the centers of a Mobile SMART Service  “SMS” is available.  Two covered bays with heat are being fabricated.
