PRLog (Press Release) -
Dec. 27, 2012 - Ultrasounds allows pregnant patients to view the fetus while still in the womb. The newer ultrasound, live motion 4D, allows a 3-dimensional image and a live-motion 4D recording of the baby. This is done by capturing these images rapidly and animate them to a produce a "4D Ultrasound."
Pregnant patients see what their baby is going to look like even before he/she is born. One patient of Drs. Goodman & Partridge OB/GYN writes, "We were so excited to see the baby in 3D so we could see who he looked like. This being our first baby, we had no idea what to expect. At first he was being stubborn and wouldn't show us his face so the ultrasound tech kept working and working, trying to get a good shot. Finally, when his little face came into view, I felt a surge of happiness seeing his little features and characteristics. He would pucker his lips and rub his face with his hands. It was amazing! We could easily see that he had my husband's nose, lips and long fingers. He looked so precious and peaceful and it made me even more excited to meet him in person. I still watch the movie they made of the 3D ultrasound quite often- the DVD they provide is awesome!"
