Commenting on the release, Darran Thomas CEO and Creative Director of Cohort adds - “Cohort is excited to bring our BAFTA nominated Playstation minis game to iOS. We have lovingly ported Monstar to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad making sure that it looks and plays great on all devices. We will be looking to add Game Center in the first update as we make the most of what Apple devices have to offer. Humorous arcade action is what Me Monstar is all about, it doesn’t take itself too seriously, and provides a challenge in bite sized chunks!”
Commenting on Cohort Studios reboot Darran adds - “Cohort closed its Dundee office in 2011 due to a declining console work for hire market, but have since relocated to Caerphilly in South Wales. The release of Me Monstar on iOS officially marks our reboot and gives an indication of our new direction. We are a small team of 4 but have also been busy with another original iOS game in full production using Unity 4 that is due for release early next year, and another project at concept stage.”
