We are very happy with this thermostat. We will likely buy another for our second furnace. It learns our habits and knows when to turn on and off. When gone from the house for several days, we turned the furnace up to normal when we were driving home.

It took all of 10 - 15 minutes to mount, wire in, link to my wifi and do basic programming. It looks great on the wall. I wasn't sure I'd be ok with the white back plate provided to hide all the damage and marks from the rectangular thermostat I took down, but it looks just fine. The unit couldn't be easier to get running - it leads you through the process. There is that intuitive simplicity you'd find in an Apple product, which this is not, but Nest has copied all their best design ideals. The website is simple to navigate as is programming in a fixed schedule. I'm only on day one but it seems to be smooth sailing. And it looks so darn cool on the wall!
