Cincy Chic Hosts Pampering Event for Charity

Dec. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Local ladies can start the new year in style as Cincy Chic hosts its third annual “New Year, New You!” event featuring fashion, pampering, and philanthropy.

This year’s “New Year New You” event will be held on Wednesday, January 23 from 6-9 pm at Mitchell’s Salon & Day Spa located at Kenwood Towne Center. Guests will enjoy shopping, pampering, refreshments from Crave, and a fashion show.

The show will feature hair and makeup styling by Mitchell’s Salon & Day Spa and the latest designs from Lee Jeans. The denim will be paired with tops and accessories from boutiques across the Tri-State and styled by the experts at FashionCincy.com.

“This event has been very popular among readers for the past two years. So, this year, we’re turning it into a fundraiser for Transitions Global,” says Amy Scalia, publisher of Cincy Chic. “It’s an organization that helps young women who have been victimized by sex trafficking transition into a normal life again. Pampering and philanthropy is just the perfect way to start the New Year, so we’re looking forward to another successful event this year.”

Tickets are $10 per person, and 100% of proceeds benefit Transitions Global.
