Unistar-Sparco Computers, Inc. Donated Thanksgiving Food Baskets

Dec. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Members of the Unistar-Sparco Computers, Inc. team volunteered their Saturday to deliver food baskets to children within Memphis City Schools and Shelby County Schools for the Thanksgiving holiday.  It has become an annual tradition at Unistar-Sparco to donate food baskets.  One day each year, employees distribute turkeys and all the trimmings to fellow members of the community.  This year, 120 turkey dinner baskets were distributed throughout Shelby County.  Lots of smiles and hugs of appreciation were shared among all those who participated – both by the givers and the receivers!  

“This tradition not only helps meet a special need for the families who receive the baskets, but it is also a special opportunity to support the local community,” said Soo-Tsong Lim, President of Unistar-Sparco Computers, Inc.  “We have been blessed to be able to supply the IT needs of Memphis City Schools and Shelby County Schools.  What better way to say, ‘thank you,’ to those we serve than to give back to the students and their families who are in need at this special time of year.”
