I am new to the kindle fire world, I had to ask someone what I wanted because I love to read! Takes a little to get used too, but REALLY love my kindle fire! I would recommend this to people who are like myself & new to this. I have already read more than I have in a long time & I can`t wait to turn it on to read my next chapter of the many free books that are available to read. I don`t use this much too surf the net as I have my laptop to do my surfing with. I would highly recommend purchasing this!
I love my Kindle Fire HD! Reading on it is comfortable and fun; listening to music on those Dolby speakers is wonderful, and the Wi-Fi works flawlessly. I've read and answered email, and though the typing is tedious it does get easier with practice. I have yet to watch a movie or a long video -- the screen is a bit small for that for this senior citizen -- but will probably do that soon too. I don't know what I'd do without it!
I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. I had purchased the Kindle Fire last year for myself and have been very happy with it. I "played" with the new one before I gave it as a gift and it has a great number of improvements. I like that we can now skype (I have skype on my home computer), have great sound with movies, and the picture is great. I can not find anything I dislike about this at all. It is a wonderful tablet and if you are thinking of getting one, I would say just do it.
