By: Ferro Kuba Mangano Sklyar, P.C. The toy drive, now in its fifth year, was initially the idea of the FKMS employees. Last year the event was at the firm’s office located on Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge. This year, with so many of PRONTO’s clients living in the Brentwood, Bay Shore, Central Islip area, FKMS will be converting its Brentwood CANTASO Law Center, located at 1819C Brentwood Road, into a “store” for the shopping spree. Wednesday evening, FKMS staff will be volunteering their time to shop for gifts for over 100 children. Last year more than 600 items were purchased by donations matched by the firm. The toys will then be loaded into a rented moving truck and ferried to Brentwood, where they will be set up in the CANTASO offices with “departments” On Saturday, December 22nd, beginning at 10 a.m., the office will be converted into a festive holiday boutique, complete with decorations, Christmas music and seasonal refreshments. Families registered with PRONTO will be invited to select holiday gifts for their youngsters, throughout the day. FKMS staff will be on hand to individually wrap each present. “Of all the community based events we have hosted or sponsored, the toy store has become the most rewarding,” said FKMS partner, William Ferro. “This year we are proud to announce that the following local businesses have contributed to the wonderful event: Eye King, LLC of Plainview, Goldsmith & Tortora of Commack, One World Judicial Services of Deer Park, Central Island Chiropractic P.C. of Brentwood, South Coast Physical Medicine P.C. of Smithtown, OrthoMed Care P.C. of Brentwood and Flexible Systems of Hauppauge.” If you would like more information about this event, please contact Nicole Jeanotte at 631-961-1043 or NJeanotte@FerroKuba.com.
