PRLog - Dec. 21, 2012 - December 21, 2012 was predicted as the day the world ends based on the Mayan calendar. However, as reported by newsday.com and as known by everyone, the prediction failed. And according to a news website GreenBeanBuddy.com, the end of the Mayan calendar was just misinterpreted.
As stated by the report, archeologists insisted that end of the calendar was just the end of the 13th Baktun or era for the Mayans. It added that even seers of Mexico don't look at it that way. The Maya themselves didn't mean it as such thing, it also shared.

The end of the world is actually the start of the new era based on the report. It related that many people even visited the Yucatan peninsula to mark the said epochal change. And as it added, some even celebrated the day with ceremonies, dancing and offerings.

According to the news website GreenBeanBuddy.com, the end of the Mayan calendar was simply just misinterpreted by many. But as it stated, everyone who believed or did not believe the doomsday theory should just be thankful for a new day. It added that after all, nobody just really knows the future.
