Forty Days and Forty Nights, Rain, Rain, Rain

The Bible has some of the best stories ever told: These great dramas include miracles, crime, sexual scandals, murder, idolatry, destruction, degradation, triumph and victory. Children need to learn from these stories but on a light-hearted level. In Forty Days and Forty Nights, rain, rain, rain, Noah struggles on the ark with mischievous monkeys, voracious ants, battling ostriches, weeping penguins and howling coyotes. Yet, the children learn that the world was destroyed because of immorality.

Aside from the moral lessons, Forty Days and Forty Nights, is highly educational:
•   The animals are presented in alphabetical order with each letter featured boldly in upper and lower case.
•   The book contains a glossary of the animals in the book, revealing interesting facts about each animal.
•   By reading along with the CD contained in the book, children can learn to pronounce unfamiliar words AND they can sing along with the Forty Days song as the words to the song are also contained in the book.

Most children love bright colors and bold graphics and these graphics leap off the page.

Forty Days and Forty Nights, Rain, Rain, Rain is written by Joan Gross and Michael Jaron. Joan also wrote the lyrics for the Forty Days Song. Laible Blu wrote the music, plays the guitar, sings the song and narrates the book (with a musical background). The bios of Joan, Michael and Laible can be found at www.TurnipTimes.com

TurnipTimes.com is the publisher for this unique book, written for children ages 6-11.
