The Miami-based fashion team is known for their unique “wearable art” designs with an eco-friendly twist. It’s not unusual to find a Franovik creation that began its fashion life as a vintage piece, family heirloom or even a drapery. From elaborate, custom gowns to daytime pieces with detailed accents, the Franovik collection is designed to span a woman’s glamorous lifestyle.
“Innovation and creating something new and different has always been our goal,” Franovik says.
Franovik will take their Fall collection to NYC after showing at the Runway Splash/Elements of Green Fashion Show and the LS1426 Fashion Week, both held in Miami.
Taking their fashions across the country is just one component of Franovik’s fashion empire. In their “spare” time, the pair offers fashion consulting services, are developing a juniors’ brand and publish their own fashion-focused magazine Models & Designers.
Another hallmark of Franovik Designs is a commitment to charitable causes. Known as “Designers With a Cause,” the design team works and raises funds for charities such as Angel’s Pediatric Heart House, Prestige Club and Sickle Cell Association of Broward, just to name a few.
