In Starlight, Sephira's classical-crossover violin virtuosity, ethereal vocals and sibling harmonies breathe new life into such timeless Christmas classics as “Oh Holy Night”, "Carol of the Bells" and "Sleigh Ride" along with a soulful rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah"
Their wintry Manhattan musical romp is set in Central Park, where Sephira substitute the sleigh with a traditional horse-drawn carriage, have fun sledding, building a snowman, playfully tossing snowballs and performing "Sleigh Ride" from atop the park's rocky outcrops, all set against the dramatic backdrop of the New York City skyline.
"At the first sight of snow, we set up a very spontaneous video shoot and had the time of our lives in Central Park!", Sephira's Ruth O'Leary said.
Sister Joyce O'Leary added, "We're so happy to share this great wintry day in New York as our video Christmas card to all our friends and fans."
A fresh new soundtrack to the most festive of seasons, Starlight is now available at http://sephirastarlight.com and for digital download at iTunes and Amazon. Sephira's "Sleigh Ride" video is on view at Vimeo, Youtube and on Sephira's Facebook page.
