Dec. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- More than a few layout enhancements have been added to the latest release of the VPHO communications app. The “appsolutely all” inclusive app now supports up to five separate individuals to be connected to one single multi-connected call.
In addition to upgrading the conference call on Android platforms, the welcome page to VPHO is now integrated with general information regarding benefits that the mobile user will discover from using VPHO and the how the recent updates have further enhanced the performance of the already powerful mobile application.
Recent platform upgrades introduce additional layout improvements to make the user experience with VPHO more pleasant.

“Our focus is to make VPHO more fluid and minimize any lag-time the user may have previously experienced,” says Yuda Hadar, CEO of VPHO.
Changes to the chat screen now make it so the user can see the status of another user that he is currently chatting with. This newly added feature to the VPHO chatting gives the user knowledge of whether or not the other user involved in the open conversation is online or currently offline, as well as how long since they were last active on VPHO.

Since the VPHO works off a Wi-Fi or cellular network, there are often times a person will travel to an unsupported area and drop from the VPHO network, resulting in missed messages. To resolve the issue of lost and/or missed calls and messages, the developers at VPHO have added a new message queue that will hold messages that get stuck in delivery until the mobile returns to a data or Wi-Fi network.

“We recognize how frustrating it will be when you are currently in a remote area where Internet connectivity is unreliable,” says Hadar. “Therefore, we have introduced one of our newest features called the message queue.”
VHPO will automatically detect when a stable Wi-Fi or 3G data connection is available again. The app will essentially attempt to send the failed messages to and from the mobile device until the send is complete.
To get started with VPHO, a mobile user need only go to Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vpho) or the AppStore (https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/vpho-phone-video-calls/id...) from their smartphone and install the free app. After a quick registration process, that involves entering the user name and phone number, an SMS will be delivered to the phone containing the activation code. Once activated, VPHO can be used immediately to call, message, and conference with contacts on the network.
