PRLog - Dec. 20, 2012 - An American bagged this year's Miss Universe crown. As reported by latimes.com, Olivia Culpo, a sophomore university student, was the named winner of the 61st Miss Universe. However, Video Inside related that many took to the web their disagreement on the judgement.

Based on the report, the 2012 Miss Universe was held in Planet Hollywood casino in Las Vegas, Wednesday night. Miss USA, along with Miss Philippines, Miss Venezuela, Miss Australia and Miss Brazil were the last five candidates left for the final question.
Eventually, the 20-year-old Culpo, who is also a self-proclaimed cellist-nerd, was announced the winner, the report related. And regarding her plans after her win, it also shared that in a separate report from dailymail, she expressed she intends to travel internationally to help educate people about HIV/Aids.

According to news website videoinside.org, there were mixed reactions to Olivia Culpo's Miss Universe win. While her supporters said she deserved the title, many disagreed. And according to the site, the negative reactions to her win was generally because of her final answer in the interview portion. As it said, they were simply not impressed by it.
