The transmission and clutch bearings are designed to meet Audi specific double clutch transmission requirements. The integrated hub bearing unit, originally conceived by SKF in the late 1930s, is now the most common solution for car and light commercial wheel bearing applications. Today, nearly, 90 million vehicles are riding on SKF wheel bearings and hub units. Deliveries will begin in 2013 from SKF factories in Spain and Italy.
