Keeping with the tradition of iKITMovie of encompassing as many features as needed to complete an animation without having to use another application, iKITMovie has now made it possible to add video overlay effects directly to your animation within our animation software interface.
For example you can add video overlays such as an explosion or fire or smoke directly on to your animated scenes. Other stop motion animation programs do not encompass such a feature. If you want to add an explosion for example you have to save your finished stop motion animation and export it to another “third party”
iKIT also like its inclusion of 2,200 sounds effects has provided a selection of video overlays that are ready to use in a video library. Overlays such as explosions, fire, smoke, rain , snow are all there ready to drag and drop on to your animation. No need to search the internet for royalty free, copyright free and suitable overlay videos for your animation.
They are all there for you to use with the one interface. You can resize and locate the overlay anywhere on your animation frame to make it suitable to your specific needs. To complement the video overlays there are also a wide selection of still image overlays. These make it possible to give your characters moving facial features by dropping on eyes and mouths frame by frame which it turn gives you the ability to make your character “talk”. By providing mouth shapes for “phonetic sounds” such as “th” , “sss”, “ee” etc you can build up complete phrases and sentencing to give your character the illusion of talking!
Again this feature is available in standalone packages specifically designed for that purpose but not directly with animation software packages in the same interface.
