The Civil Service Day which is held annually in the entire African Continent in recognition of the contributions of the Civil Service to national development. The festivities include a Thanksgiving Service, Symposium, Essay Writing Competition, Finals of the Head of Service Football Cup Competition and Relay Race, among others.
This year’s celebration has the theme, ‘‘Capacity Development for the implementation of the Transformation Agenda’’.
