Dec. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- For Kyoto entrepreneur, Peter Sterlacci, his creativity and fierce drive to succeed were two of several ingredients that helped him earn a spot on the Premiere Season of the groundbreaking online competition reality show “Prosperity’s Kitchen (http://prosperityskitchen.com/).”

Peter is the powerhouse behind Believe.Become.Be Your Brand (http://www.petersterlacci.com/), a company he started in 2011, one year after deciding he needed to make a big change in his life.

“I was unhappy in my corporate job (not like you haven't heard this before!) and felt that each and every day a tiny piece of my creativity, passion, and happiness was fading,” he said. “Actually, it was Simon Sinek's TED Talk, ‘How Great Leaders Inspire Action’ and his 'golden circle' that made me realize I was missing my ‘Why.’ This became the motivation for me to make the leap of faith and be a solopreneur.”

Peter is known as “Japan’s personal branding pioneer” and is one of 15 Master level Certified Personal Branding Strategists in the world. He’s introducing a leading global personal branding methodology to on-the-move careerists in Japan and adapting it for the Japanese culture.

In a country where fitting-in is the norm, Peter’s mission is to pioneer a ‘cultural shift’ by helping the Japanese to stand out in a global environment. Also an avid cyclist, he combines cycling imagery with personal branding strategy to empower his clients to shift gears, get out of the saddle, and sprint to career success.

Auditions

Peter says he applied to be a contest so he could, grow his marketing 'know how' and ultimately his business. “I need the 'nitty-gritty-down-and-dirty' secrets from industry experts to help me take my business to the next level,” said Peter. “I’m confident that’s what I’ll gain from Prosperity’s Kitchen. Plus, I am willing to lay it all out there and have some fun!”

Peter made it through three rounds of eliminations before being selected as one of 15 contestants for the show. His audition video is available on YouTube here: http://youtu.be/mOHwE1u2EQk

While competing for a $10K prize package as they learn to market themselves online, the contestants will be mentored by 12 guest experts including Gina Bell, Tara Gentile, Diane Conklin, Deborah Gallant, Danny Iny, Erika Napoletano, Mike Michalowicz, Pamela Slim, Ann Smarty, Lori Taylor, Johnny Truant and Steven Washer.

The premiere season of "Prosperity’s Kitchen" has been dubbed the solopreneurs’ edition and is being presented by BIGSTOCK.

Tea Silvestre, the executive producer and host of the show, said the contestants will be in “class” and tackling missions for 12 weeks beginning January 21, 2013.

Each week contestants are given real marketing tasks and within 48 hours to a week the task is completed and a review of the task with prominent business executives is done in the “kitchen.”

Contestants will work together in teams of three and accumulate points for best job on a particular mission – both as a team and as an individual. Judging criteria are based on task profitability, leadership skills, communication, innovation and exploration of new opportunities.
