Based on the report, the said sophomore album of the “Lazy Song” singer was entitled Unorthodox Jukebox. And as it specified, Taylor Swift's “Red” was what kept it locked in the second spot.
In figures, the report related that Unorthodox Jukebox sold 192, 000 copies. The number, it said, was provided by Nielsen SoundScan. And compared to Mars' first album of “Doo-Wops & Hooligans,” it added that was about four times as many.
Here's an excerpt from the post Bruno Mars New Album Ranks Second on Billboard Chart by Green Bean Buddy.
“With hits like the Lazy Song that always get everyone singing along, there's no doubt that Bruno Mars is one of the most talented music artists today. Too bad though, his second album, Unorthodoz Jukebox, debuted only at top 2 in the Billboard Chart.
But don't get it wrong. Ranking second in the Billboard Chart is already a huge achievement. But of course, coming out on top surely would have been better and if not only for Taylor Swift's “Red,” then surely, that would have happened.”
Entertainment and sports news website GreenBeanBuddy.com shared that Bruno Mars sang one of his songs in his new album at the “The Voice” stage last Tuesday. The title of it was “When I Was Your Man,” it said. And judging by that one song, it commented that the album deserved its spot on the chart.
