Dec. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- The public is invited to attend a World Affairs Forum Great Decisions event featuring Jose Rasco, Senior Investment Strategist at HSBC Private Bank Americas. Mr. Rasco will speak on Mexico and Latin America at the New Canaan Library on January 7, 2013.  

Mr. Rasco served has served the financial community for almost 25 years.  Prior to his work at HSBC Private Bank Americas he served as a Senior Investment Strategist at Merrill Lynch, working directly with the Chief Investment Strategist.  Mr. Rasco also worked directly with the CIO of the Merrill Lynch Private Bank in the development of socially responsible research, products, and portfolio strategies, implementing an actively managed solution known as Values Based Investing.  While he traveled around the world, his main focus was on the US and Latin American high net worth client base, in conjunction with the CIO of the ML Private Bank.

His comments have appeared in a variety of financial publications and media, including WSJ, NY Times, NY Times magazine, Fortune, the International Herald Tribune, CNBC, BB radio, BBTV, BB Spanish TV, and CNN Español.

General admission tickets are complementary and include the presentation by Mr. Rasco and opportunity for Q&A. The program will begin at 7:00 pm in the Lamb Room.
