Follow on Google News | Knuckle Dragger Magazine Offers Print SubscriptionMen's Magazine shocks publishing industry with launching print magazine in response to reader demand.
The digital publication launched earlier this year to a tremendous response from readers, and now they are set to release their first print magazine in 2013. "We're extremely excited to trend in the opposite direction of other publishing companies. Our focus with the print magazine is specifically for subscribers, not newsstands, which is a very expensive component of print.", said Rodney Burrell, CEO of Knuckle Dragger Magazine. "It's not to say that we don't lose money on subscribers, all publishers do, but it's not as extreme, and we have a dedicated reader for a whole year.", Burrell added. The first print run is set to be distribute to some 10,000 subscribers and plans are to keep growing from there. "I'm a magazine purist and love the print form of media. The digital age is definitely here to stay and will most definitely become a dominant force in the years to come, but people still want to read magazines, real ones." Although the print magazine is set to release, Knuckle Dragger's internet presence has been growing at a lightning pace. Since October, the website's Alexa ranking has dropped from 16-million to 4-million. "People recognize that we're creating original, relevant content, and they keep coming back for more.", said Scott Betten, COO and Publisher of Knuckle Dragger Magazine. "4-million isn't our magic number, there's still lots of work to be done, but it's a great start for a new publication" Subscriptions for Knuckle Dragger Magazine are 19.99 and are available via the company's website. www.kdmagazine.com End
