Welsh children’s author releases first book in North America.

Successful Welsh children’s author, Colin R. Parsons, releases first North American edition, of Cardiff-based robot novel, Crank Tech One: Destruction.

PRLog - Dec. 19, 2012 - BEDFORD, U.K. -- Bromham, Bedfordshire: Greyhart Press, a publisher of science fiction, fantasy, and thriller books, announces its latest book release is the North American edition of Crank Tech One: Destruction by Colin R. Parsons. The book, a YA action adventure novel of a robot running amok through Cardiff, has been adapted for and trialled by an American audience and is released through Greyhart’s YA imprint, The Repository of Imagination (http://ataleforatale.com/).

Welsh author Colin R. Parsons, who has sold thousands of copies of his fantasy books in bookshop tours throughout the UK, said at the UK launch event: “Crank Tech One is my first dabble into the world of sci-fi and I'm hoping it won't be the last. If you love fantasy at its best and also love a story about a manic robot trashing a city. Come by and say hi.”

Commenting on the release, Greyhart Press publisher Tim C. Taylor said: “I am delighted that the first book for our new YA imprint, The Repository of Imagination, will be from such a respected and prolific author as Colin. Not only is this our first YA novel, but this is also the first time we will be releasing distinct British and International editions of a book, though both editions are set firmly in Wales.”
