In 2011, Chrysler spent $2.1 billion over approximately 200 different minority suppliers that it depends on for its operations. This number makes up about 8.5% of Chrysler's total annual purchasing, and they have spent more than $47 billion since 1983 on supplies from minority owned businesses.
In response to their recognition, Kevin L.
