Kensington Real Estate Brokerage to Offer Pre-Licensing Classes

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 18, 2012 - NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA – Beginning January 14, 2013, Kensington Real Estate Brokerage, a local brokerage known for exceptional service to real estate buyers and sellers in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island area, will be offering Real Estate Salesperson's Pre-licensing Classes at their headquarters located at 214 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.  

Those looking to gain a real estate license must now complete  40 hours of classroom instruction to sit for the salesperson’s exam.  Kensington Real Estate Brokerage has designed classes to not only provide the most up-to-date real estate information, but also to meet the needs of day and evening student schedules.  On Mondays and Wednesdays, classes will be available from 10-2pm and from 5-9pm. Students can also attend class on Saturdays from 10-2pm.  In order to meet the state requirement, students must take 10 four-hour classes.  Kensington Real Estate Brokerage asks that students pre-register.  The cost of the classes is $350.00.

In addition, Kensington Real Estate Brokerage will be offering the mandatory Continuing Educational Classes necessary for real estate licensee renewal beginning January 2, 2013.  Twelve hours of CEU's are required every two years for licensed Real Estate Salespersons.  The additional ethics requirement is every four years. We will offer 12 classes total; registrants may choose six of the 12 classes offered to meet the 12 CEU requirement.  Scheduling is flexible but spaces must be reserved in advance.  The cost of the classes is $120.00.

Kensington Real Estate Brokerage has chosen the Real Estate Salespersons Pre-licensing classroom video series via Richard Harris Education Center for its comprehensive content as well as its flexibility of scheduling classes and make-up and review opportunities prior to sitting for the exam. We also will be including on-site presentations from Aileen McDonough of 3amWriters and Becky Jackson of the Sun Chronicle to provide valuable information on effective promotion through print and social media .
