Prior to his current role, Russell was the agency’s comptroller and executive director of financial business operations where he oversaw an annual $1.2 billion budget.

In his current role, he oversees 10,800 civilians and military personnel performing contract management work at more than 740 locations.

In her role, she oversees warfighting processes, force structure capability and sufficiency assessments; informs leadership on emerging issues; oversees resource investment decisions; and rapidly collects, disseminates, implements and tracks lessons learned.

In 1998, Henningston became a part of the senior executive service as associate director for modeling, simulation and analysis with the directorate for command and control in the office of the deputy chief of staff for air and space operations.
