Chapman and Associates Welcomes New Senior Attorney Martin J. Vittands

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 18, 2012 - Martin joins Chapman and Associates following a distinguished career as an assistant attorney general for the State of Michigan. He has a wealth of experience with civil rights litigation and administrative law.

Martin began his career in 1976 working for the State of Michigan Civil Rights Division, litigating civil rights claims. In 1985 Martin moved to the Corrections Division and continued to develop his expertise in civil rights litigation, defending all significant medical and a substantial number of other correctional civil rights claims in Federal Court. He later began working for the Michigan Labor Division where he gained extensive experience in administrative law and procedure, litigating complex tax and labor matters.

Martin’s extensive experience in civil rights litigation, administrative law and tax law makes him a great addition to the Chapman and Associates family and a valuable asset for our corrections, health law and business clients.
