The vehicle will be released during Honda's press conference at the auto show, which will also be broadcast online (http://hondawebcast.com/)
So far, the only indication of just what this new vehicle will entail has been a sketch that was leaked by American Honda Motor Co., Inc. While there is not much to be gleaned from the sketch, it does appear that the vehicle will carry the profile of a sporty, dynamic SUV while providing a spacious interior.
There seem to be similarities between the new concept and the CR-V in overall shape, and while there is no telling just how rough the released sketch is in relation to the actual vehicle, it appears that it could a two-door vehicle. Analysts are predicting that the vehicle will be based on the Jazz platform, considering that the automaker just recently invested $800 million in the production facilities for that platform.
If this prediction is correct, that puts the vehicle into the “small crossover” class, competing with vehicles such as the Nissan Juke.
Although this is just the concept car, which means that it could be some time before the actual vehicle is on the streets of Chicago, drivers can enjoy the current lineup of Honda vehicles, in addition to a selection of gently used models, at Motor Werks Honda of Barrington.
To learn more about this new SUV, drivers should follow auto news sources closely, as they will all likely be covering the North American International Auto Show. Readers can also contact Motor Werks Honda and speak with their sales team about the new vehicle.
