Ericsson’s existing ‘Connected Vehicle Cloud’ platform will act as an upgrade for the current Sensus in-car platform featured in Volvo vehicles. A number of different apps will be available through these systems, and according to Volvo, the first apps will be skewed toward infotainment.
The apps in question will be primarily hosted in the cloud, making the upgraded systems incredibly advanced and cutting edge.
