“50 Fitness Tips You Wish You Knew” aims to provide individuals with unique and lesser known tips and strategies for increasing motivation, improving health and getting in shape.
The book is divided into four main sections. The first section shares psychological strategies for getting motivated, setting goals properly, and changing habits permanently. The second section reveals advice on how to improve one’s diet through quick and healthy recipes, making better food choices, and purchasing health foods on a limited budget. The third section provides supplement suggestions for a variety of health conditions. The fourth section gives exercise tips for people on a busy schedule looking to get in shape quickly and with greater ease.
When talking about why he believes this book is unique, Derek says, “there are countless books out there sharing health and fitness tips, and many of them give similar rehashed advice. I wanted to provide people with the insights I wish I knew when I first got started. It took me nine years of dedicated research and experience in the arena of health and fitness to discover all of these tips because many of them are not addressed by the mainstream fitness community of authors, bloggers, and trainers.”
