Dec. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- AUGI announced today new Membership plans that expand benefit levels and allow members to tap into print publications and more.  The AUGI that we know and love is getting better.  AUGI has expanded in many areas of the past few years.  Expanded Wish List.  Expanded web Library.  Expanded publications and so much more.

AUGI is a peer-to-peer membership organization that provides multiple opportunities to find the answers to the question that impact Autodesk® product users every day.  When you hit a wall, AUGI helps you break through.  When you encounter a troubles spot, AUGI helps you navigate around it.

In recent year, AUGI has defined expansion plans that are aggressive and will provide even more content and expertise that is shared by users for other users.  These expansion plans will invigorate the community and make our site and products even more interactive.

To fund this expansion, AUGI has added paid tiers of membership to the options available to our membership.  Free memberships will be retained and most of the benefits that members love will remain free.  Future new features that we will add may be accessed only by specific tiers of members based on the level they have chosen.

Basic Membership (formerly our Free Membership) is our base entry level.  The Forums (our main resource for sharing knowledge) will remain free and open to everyone.  Posting will require membership at the free level, but access is open to the entire world without login or restriction.  Most other areas will remain open to members and the general public.

Premier Membership will be the first level of paid membership.  Premier will include access to all Basic levels plus Archives and early access to some features.  This level may be the one you are looking for if you have older products and need access to past content related to prior software releases.  This is also the level that is need if you are leading a User Group (our face to face member driven events).

Professional Membership is the new top tier.  This level provides access to all other level features, plus members will get AUGIWorld magazine in print delivered to your home or work address.  AUGIWorld returned to print in 2012 and now members can receive that benefit when they join at this level.  This will allow members to maintain and share a hardcopy reading library of issues.   There will also be greater access to Archives and special features.

We encourage Autodesk® product users to join AUGI at a higher level as we seek to increase member benefits and secure AUGI’s future.

AUGI is offering the Premier Membership for $25 per year.   The Professional Membership is $100 per year with an introductory promotional discount at $75 per year.
