PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 18, 2012 - Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire -- In June 2012 Stand Your Ground Media merged with Decode Film Ltd, forming their new company, Kode Media Ltd.
Jack Goodwin, Co-Director of Kode Media Ltd, explains… “Stand Your Ground was a great company but at the start of 2012 we realised we needed to expand the team and also undergo a company rebrand. The merger with Decode Film gave us a fantastic opportunity to do so. Decode were also at a cross roads at the time, so it all seemed to fit right into place. We put all of our resources into one pot and I’m pleased to say we haven’t looked back since.”
In the first quarter of 2011 UKFilmLocation.com was approached to supply a music video location by Jack Goodwin of Stand Your Ground Media, then a small music video production company based in London.
The first project was a small one, but the professional way that Stand Your Ground Media went about organising the booking, and managing the shoot with Rock Band, Enter Shikari gave a clear indication that this was a well organised company with lots of ambition.
From this first booking the relationship expanded and UKFilmLocation.com now handles all of location requirements for the company, sometimes at fairly short notice and with a specific location brief to satisfy.
When asked about his relationship with UKFilmLocation.com Jack tells me… ”The team at UKFilmLocation.com are exceptional. We get great service and they are really friendly and professional in the way they support us.
I have full confidence that my team of Directors and Producers can call the team with a location brief, and regardless of how difficult it is to identify the required location, they’ll work tirelessly to identify suitable options for us. They have a fantastic ability to find the most suitable locations and invariably within our location budget.
It’s a much more efficient use of our time to have the specialists at UKFilmLocation.com come up with the locations than in having our resources tied up for hours or days scouring the internet, or cold calling potential venues.
Growth of their property portfolio especially in the London, South East and Midlands regions, along with steady improvements to UKFilmLocation.com website, have also helped us a lot. In particular the ease in which we are now able to search and navigate through the site, and easily share location ideas within our production teams. It’s really paid dividends for us to know that we have the support of the UKFilmLocation.com team behind us.”
When asked what it was like to work with Jack and the team at Kode Media Ltd., Tim Beasley, Director of UKFilmLocation.com responded by telling me…
“Jack and the team at Kode Media are fantastic clients to have. We ask for feedback from our owners after every shoot that we arrange to ensure that we are working with clients who respect our locations. We have only had high praise as to the respectful way that Kode Media production teams go about their business which is extremely pleasing and confirms our impression.
My Location Managers team are always happy to work with Kode Media Ltd, going out of their way to identify the required location within stated budgets, even if this means working outside of office hours or with very short deadlines.”
