IN HIS PRESENCE PRESENTS “FREEDOM’S GIFT: LIVE” CHRISTMAS CONCERT AT HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

FAIRFAX, Va. (Dec. 13)—In His Presence will proudly present Freedom’s Gift: LIVE along with various musical guests on Dec. 22 at 5 p.m. at Highview Christian Fellowship in Fairfax, Va. The event will feature new vocal quintet In His Presence along with local soloist Chris Holmes, vocal duo Redeemed and the musical group Christian D. Davis & Chosen Royalty. The first annual Christmas concert is being held to glorify God and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The event also provides an opportunity for local gospel singers to come together and fellowship on one accord. Admission will be free of charge. In His Presence was founded in Fairfax, Va. in spring 2012 to lead God’s people into worship, according to Min. Deon Patton, the group’s worship leader. The ministry’s first CD, “Freedom’s Gift,” has continued to garner attention within the local gospel community ever since it was released independently in mid-November. The album features original songwriting as well as new arrangements of traditional Christmas songs. “We want an environment with the presence of God,” Patton said. “We want God to be there. We want people to be blessed, and we also want to inspire the Christmas spirit.” Chris Holmes of Upper Marlboro, Md. has become a local inspiration with his rare blend of acoustic guitar playing and distinctive singing. He established Chris Holmes Ministries because he is passionate about spreading the gospel. Christian D. Davis & Chosen Royalty was birthed in 2006 to remind Christians that they have the power to declare victory. This group, which is based in northern Virginia, features vocalists and instrumentalists and has already released two CDs through the V.A.S. Entertainment Productions music label. The ministry has performed with Min. Isaac Howard, Dr. Michael Reid and Greater Mount Calvary Holiness Church of America’s International District Choir. Founded in Richmond, Va. in 2002, vocal duo Redeemed has demonstrated that young people can have an impact in the Christian community. The group’s founder, Vincent Wynn, has written a song for critically acclaimed gospel artist VaShawn Mitchell. Highview Christian Fellowship is located on 4100 Hunt Road, Fairfax, Va. 22032.
