Cash boost for leading charities

Dec. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Staff at Doncaster based law firm, Atherton Godfrey have raised over £5,000 for charity after taking part in a will-writing scheme.

Will Aid is the UK’s top charity will-writing scheme. It offers everyone the opportunity to make or update their Will in return for a donation to help people in need in the UK and all over the world.

As part of the Will Aid campaign the firm drew up basic Wills for local people without charging the usual fee. In return, the clients made a donation to Will Aid.

The money raised will make a real and lasting difference to the vulnerable children, families and older people.

James Sutherland, a partner at Atherton Godfrey said: “We had a very busy and successful campaign and wrote 45 Wills for local people. Their generous contributions mean that more than £5,000 has been raised for Will Aid.

“We would like to thank all those clients who came to us during the Will Aid campaign, and contributed to this fantastic total.”
