KloudData’s mFSE and mMR Mobile Apps Now Live on SAP® Store

Dec. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- [Fremont] — [December 13, 2012] — KloudData Inc. today announced that it has launched its storefront on the SAP® Store, where it will market and sell its mFSE (mobile Field Service Engineer) and mMR (mobile Med Records) mobile apps. A member of the SAP® Mobile Apps Partner program, KloudData developed its apps leveraging tools and resources from SAP, including the SAP Mobile Platform for application development.

The mMR app mobilizes electronic patient records to enable doctors to deliver better-informed patient care and patient outcomes at anytime, from anywhere. The app not only displays data from the back-end hospital records and imaging systems, but also allows doctors to modify the line of treatments or prescribe new tests, all from their iOS or Android handheld devices. KloudData’s mMR app was recently declared the winner of the SAP Mobile Apps Partner Challenge at the SAP TechEd conference held in Las Vegas in October. A jury comprising industry analysts and influencers and SAP experts in enterprise mobility scored the mobile apps based on user experience, functionality, innovation, customer appeal and business value. KloudData was chosen as one of the three finalists to participate in the “Mobile Jumpstart” event at SAP TechEd, where the audience voted the mMR app as the winner.

The mFSE app provides field service employees with mobile access to job assignments, scheduling, inventory status, priority tasks, pricing, locations, maps, order history, feedback and more. This app provides  enhanced operational efficiencies and boosts accuracy of data collected by field engineers, resulting in better resource management and customer relationships.

The SAP Mobile Apps Partner program supports partners across the entire lifecycle, from enblement and developing solutions to going to market. The program offers a comprehensive set of enablement tools, access to required developer licenses, and support to help partners quickly and efficiently develop, market, and sell mobile apps via the SAP Store that meet the needs of customers. Also available within the program is an SAP certification for mobile apps, which signals to customers the quality of the packaged mobile app from the device to the back-end-integration level.

SAP Store offers close to 1,700 solutions from both SAP and over 1,000 solution partners for business analytics, mobile apps, cloud solutions, and other business process software and services. The Store is available on the Web at www.sapstore.com and mobile versions are also available for iOS and Android devices.
