NJ Kids' Events: Free Kwanzaa Children's Festival at NJPAC

NJPAC in Newark, New Jersey will once again host their annual Free Kwanzaa Children's Festival.

This years' festival will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 12:00 pm.

This will be a day of free Kwanzaa activities, including hands-on workshops designed for adults and children that include African dance, storytelling, arts and crafts, and drumming.

Fred Hammond at NJPAC

Experience the sounds of love and praise when singer-guitarist Fred Hammond brings his jazzy, R&B style of gospel music to NJPAC in Newark on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 8:00 pm.

This Grammy, Dove and Stellar award winner arrives fresh off his recent two-CD release, God, Love and Romance. Debuting at #1 on the Billboard gospel chart, Hammond continues to push the boundaries of contemporary gospel and forge new ground, melding traditional gospel with elements of funk, soul, R&B and urban music.
