siptel sponsors Woking Football Club Academy

The Woking FC Academy has been operating in its current format for almost 10 years and is being sponsored by siptel for the 2012/2013 season.

PRLog - Dec. 16, 2012 - The Woking FC Academy has been operating in its current format for almost 10 years with the aim of helping talented young footballers make progress in their sporting careers whilst continuing with their academic studies.
For the 2012/13 season, the Academy is sponsored by siptel, and will operate out of Woking College and Guildford County School, offering subjects which range from 'A' Levels to Sports Coaching courses. In addition for the first time, places are also being offered to boys who may wish to be educated elsewhere.

The scheme includes 6 hours of coaching per week by fully-qualified UEFA 'A' and 'B' licenced coaches alongside the choice of academic studies.

The Academy will be running seven teams in the following Leagues: U18 Surrey Youth League; U18 Southern Youth League; U18 Ryman Youth League; U19 British Colleges League (Woking College); U19 English Colleges League (Guildford County School), U19 Football Conference Youth League and as in previous years we will be managing an age unrestricted side (Woking Reserves) playing in the Suburban Football League.

Since its inception in 2003 the newly-structured Academy has been hugely successful and the season 2011/12 was no exception, the most noteworthy achievement was to be crowned Champions of the SUburban Football League Premier A Division.
